Howard launched Finlandia Vodka, Barbella wines, Boucheron Wines, Aguardiente Cristal, Deville Brandy and many others. He was named in an article in Decanter magazine as "the man who never went back on his word."
BARBARA GOLDSTEIN
Barbara, a professional wine taster and blender, was responsible for the blending of Barbella and Boucheron, which at their high collectively sold over 700,000 cases per year. She now gives wine lectures and has been featured on various television and radio broadcasts.
JAMES GOLDSTEIN
Jim Goldstein was responsible for the launch of Hpnotiq, the fastest growing premium spirit in the history of the liquor business. He now oversees the launch of Everglo. Jim still consults Howard on every brand, and consults Barbara on every blend. In between brands Jim drives everyone crazy. Jim knows that he has some very big shoes to fill. It is his wish that when he retires, the industry has only two things to say about him "He made me money, and I had fun doing it."

MAC BERK
Mac Berk has worked in a variety of areas of the liquor industry. Mac was one of the people responsible for the launch of Kahlua, one of the most popular cordials in the world. He is uniquely aware of the needs of distributors and retailers for brand building in America. Whenever Jim and Mac would go and get a big opening order from a distributor, they would go out and celebrate. Well, they would try to celebrate. Whenever they would close a deal they would inevitably be unable to find a decent restaurant. Even when given specific directions, they would get lost and end up at some taco stand in the middle of nowhere. This seems to have become a good luck charm for them. After 1,000,000 cases of sales together, Jim still owes Mac a decent lunch. |
